The two plans, which are in lower-level north and upper-level north, represent the most affordable full-season ticket prices since the team’s arrival in Raleigh in 1999, with plans starting at just $430 for the entire season. Hurricanes extend RBC Center Lease
[Jun. 14, 2008] The Carolina Hurricanes and the Centennial Authority, the public/private partnership that developed and owns the RBC Center, today announced that the lease agreement between the entities has been extended by five years. The extension includes the arena management contract with the Hurricanes' parent company Gale Force Holdings, making the previous 20-year lease, established in 1999, effective through 2024.
 
Hurricanes claim Samsonov from Chicago
[Jan. 8, 2008] Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager for the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team has claimed right wing Sergei Samsonov on re-entry waivers from the Chicago Blackhawks. Samsonov is expected to join the Hurricanes in Boston for the team's game tonight against the Bruins (7 p.m., FSN South, Hurricanes Radio Network).

[Sep. 21, 2007] Jim Rutherford, President and General Manager of the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, announced Thursday that the team has assigned 15 players to Albany of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Hurricanes training camp roster now stands at 33 players heading into this weekend's home-and-home series with the Nashville Predators.

The 8th Annual Chevrolet Caniac Carnival presented by Verizon Yellow Pages will take place on Sunday, Sept. 16, from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m., at the RBC Center. Parking and admission to the event are free of charge and the Carnival will feature rides, interactive games, live music, an autograph session with select Hurricanes players, and more.

[Oct. 2, 2006] The Carolina Hurricanes will raise their 2006 Stanley Cup championship banner to the RBC Center's rafters on Wednesday, Oct. 4, prior to their game against the Buffalo Sabres. RBC Center parking lots will open at 2:30 p.m., doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and fans are encouraged to arrive early and be in their seats by 6:45 p.m. to enjoy the festivities.
