Raleigh, NC – Kyle Prairie, Director of Ticket Sales for the National Hockey League’s Carolina Hurricanes, today announced two new full-season ticket packages for the 2011-12 NHL season. The two plans, which are in lower-level north and upper-level north, represent the most affordable full-season ticket prices since the team’s arrival in Raleigh in 1999, with plans starting at just $430 for the entire season.

“We want to make full-season ticket plans as accessible as possible for our most loyal fans,” said Prairie. “While our average season ticket price remains one of the most affordable in the NHL, we now have the second-lowest season ticket price offering in the league in the upper-level, and the fourth-lowest offering in the lower level.”

The new lower-level ticket offering encompasses 1,000 seats in the top eight rows of sections 108-115. The cost per game will be just $39, for a season-long total of $1,677.

The new upper-level offering is sponsored by 99.9 The Fan, and will be called the Carolina Hurricanes FANZONE. Just 1,000 tickets will be available in the FANZONE, at a cost of $9.99 per game and $430 for the season. FANZONE seats are in sections 311-317, and each fan who purchase tickets there will receive special FANZONE t-shirts.
