Fuquay-Varina, NC - The Northwood girls' golf team remain undefeated this season and won the Conference Championship at Crooked Creek, in Fuquay-Varina on Monday, Oct 5.
Emily Brooks, Maggie Denny and Emma Marlatt of Chapel Hill tied for top medalist on a very tough track at Crooked Creek. All four of the Northwood Lady Chargers took All-Conference Honorsfor the season! Emily Brooks placed #1, Avri Smith #4, Maggie Denny #5 and Freshman Rachel Wynne #9. Coach Karen Crisp was also awarded Coach of the Year.
The team now advances to Regionals to be played in Goldsboro on Oct. 20th.
