Siler City, NC - Quarterback Dean Hatami threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Justin Beau with 1:07 remaining to rally Northwood past Jordan-Matthews.

Jordan-Matthews took a 15-12 lead with 2:11 to go on a 47-yard field goal by Johnny Jimenez, who had missed two extra points earlier.

Northwood started its game-winning drive on its own 30. Hatami was 4-for-5 for 58 yards on the seven-play drive and also had a 12-yard run. He found Tim Courtney for his first three completions on the drive before hooking up with Beau for the score.

Jordan-Matthews, however, gave the Chargers one last scare. The Jets returned the ensuing squib kick to its own 44 and moved inside Northwood's 20 on a completion and a pass-interference penalty. Junior linebacker Kevin Jackson, however, sealed the win when he picked off a pass with about 30 seconds to go and returned it to near midfield.
