Northwood beats Cardinal Gibbons, 40-6

Raleigh, NC - Tobias Palmer of Northwood High School had an early 72-yard scoring run and ran up a total of 200 yards in the Mid-State 2-A victory. Northwood led Gardinal Gibbons 20-1 at the half.

Northwood (8-3, 4-1) ran for 398 yards and held Cardinal Gibbons (2-8, 0-5) to 73 yards on the ground.

Palmer broke his 72-yarder in the second period and added a 49-yard scoring run in the fourth period.
