The Northwood Marching Chargers open their season with a halftime performance at the September 3rd football game. They will preview their show, "Simon Says" featuring the music of Paul Simon. Songs for this year's competition show will include Late in the Evening,You Can Call Me Al, Bookends, Cecilia, Feelin' Groovy and Mrs. Robinson. The program includes prominent percussion features, solos and outstanding colorguard routines. The marching band, including colorguard and percussion, is 93 students strong this year.

They kick off their competition season at McMichael HS September 18th, travel to Myrtle Beach on October 9th, Western Alamance on October 16th and finish the competition season at Lee Senior on October 30th.

Come out and cheer on these hard working musicians in their efforts. The band is also sponsoring their 2nd annual $10,000 raffle. They will be on sale at the football games and through any Northwood band member.
