[Aug. 31, 2009] Junior cornerback Tra Chandler intercepted a pass inside Charger territory with under two minutes remaining to seal a 14-6 victory for the visiting Chargers in the rain at Western Harnett High School on Friday night. [May 8, 2009] The Northwood varsity softball team defeated Carrboro 24-0 Thursday night to clinch the Mid State 2A Conference title for the second consecutive year. The Lady Chargers will play at home Monday evening in the first round of the Mid State Conference Tournament.
