Bear Creek, NC - On Wednesday, April 19th, Spencer Andrews, a senior at Chatham Central High School, signed a national letter of intent to play baseball at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina.
Head coach Sal Bando, Jr., signed Andrews for the shortstop position based on his excellent career statistics as well as a strong career batting average.
"Spencer rounds out this year's talented recruiting class, and Spencer will fit nicely into the Panther program. He is a solid shortstop with great potential," commented Bando.

He has received numerous honors both athletically and academically. He is ranked tenth in his senior class of 116 and has maintained a 4.3 GPA.
