Hurricane Wilma causes ACC football schedule shuffle
Greensboro, NC -- Wake Forest’s football game against Miami at Groves Stadium has been rescheduled due to the postponement of this Saturday’s Georgia Tech at Miami game, created by the projected path of Hurricane Wilma, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced today.
The Miami at Wake Forest game that was originally slated for Thursday, November 17 on ESPN will be played Saturday, November 12 in Winston-Salem. The game time and plans for broadcasting the game have not been determined.
This move will allow the Georgia Tech at Miami football game which was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 22 to be played Saturday, November 19 instead.
