ESPN has declared a six-day option on two games for Nov. 12th. ESPN will select either Maryland at North Carolina or NC State at Boston College to be televised on ESPN2 with a 7:15 pm kickoff time.
The game which is not chosen on by ESPN2, will be televised by Jefferson-Pilot/Raycom at 12 noon. The decision will be made and announced no later than 12 noon this Sunday, November 6, after the Atlantic Coast Conference television partners make their final football selections for the Nov. 12 games.
The two possible scenarios for Saturday, November 12, are as follows:
If ESPN2 selects the North Carolina-Maryland game for a 7:15 p.m. kickoff, then the men's basketball exhibition game against Catawba will start at 3 p.m. at the Smith Center.
If ESPN2 selects the NC State at Boston College football game for a 7:15 p.m. kickoff, then Jefferson-Pilot will televise the Carolina-Maryland football game which will kickofff at Noon. The men's basketball exhibition game against Catawba would start at 5 p.m.
