Raleigh, NC - For the seventh consecutive season, NC State has sold out its season football tickets. A record number 38,200 season tickets have been sold for the 2007 campaign, up 200 from 2006.

“The dedication of the Wolfpack nation has been obvious to me since my first day on the job,” said first-year head coach Tom O’Brien. “I’m looking forward to standing on the home sideline in a packed Carter-Finley Stadium this season.”

The capacity of Carter-Finley Stadium has increased by 6,000 seats since 2001 (from 51,500 to 57,500), the first year of the sell-out streak. However, season ticket sales have increased by over 15,000 since that time.

“The tradition of NC State football continues to grow because of the support of our great fans,” said Director of Athletics Lee Fowler. “The top football programs in the nation sell out their season tickets year after year and our fans have put us in that elite company.”

Single-game tickets are still available for the Wofford (Sept. 15) and Maryland (Nov. 24) contests and other game availability (due to unused visitor tickets) may be posted on gopack.com throughout the season.

Men’s basketball season tickets are now available online to Wolfpack Club members and NC State faculty and staff. Paper applications will be sent to those groups soon.
