ACC announces 2013 football bowl schedule[May 6, 2013] The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the dates, networks and game times for its 2013 Football Bowl Games. In all, the ACC will have eight guaranteed bowl slots, with one additional conditional contract.
UNC Tar Heels spring game set for April 13[Apr. 13, 2013] North Carolina will hold its annual Spring Football Game on Saturday, April 13, at 3 p.m. at Kenan Stadium. The Bell Tower Park adjacent to Kenan Football Center kicks off the day's events at 11 a.m. and feature live music from GrooveTown, the premier do it all, play it all party band. Food vendors, merchandise tents and interactive games will be set up in the park. Carolina new football uniforms will be on display and fans can take pictures with the new uniforms in front of the Kenan Football Center.
Duke Blue Devils by the numbers[Dec. 26, 2012] The University of Cincinnati football will play Duke University in the Belk Bowl on Dec. 27, 2012 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. The game will kickoff at 6:30 p.m. ET and air on ESPN.
NC State quarterback Mike Glennon invited to 2013 Senior Bowl Game[Dec. 14, 2012] NC State quarterback Mike Glennon has accepted an invitation to play in the 2013 Senior Bowl. The annual showcase of the top draft eligible players is set to be played at 3 p.m. on Saturday, January 26 at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala. It will be televised by the NFL Network.
ACC Football Championship Game Q & A[Nov. 30, 2012] Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C., will host the Atlantic Coast Conference Football Championship Game for the third straight year when Florida State and Georgia Tech square off Saturday at 8 p.m. Michael Kelly, the ACC's Senior Associate Commissioner who oversees Football, Broadcasting and Communications, discusses the growth of the event, which is now in its eighth year overall, with Steve Phillips, the conference's Associate Director of Communications.
Atlantic Coast Conference announces ACC Football Players of the Week for November 19[Nov. 21, 2012] Clemson quarterback Tajh Boyd and NC State wide receiver Tobais Palmer headline a list of nine players named as the Atlantic Coast Conference Football Players of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday. Boyd set an ACC record with eight touchdowns rushing and passing and Palmer set a new conference mark with 496 all-purpose yards as Clemson defeated NC State, 62-48.
Atlantic Coast Conference announces ACC Football Players of the Week for November 12[Nov. 13, 2012] Florida State wide receiver Rashad Greene and defensive end Cornellius Carradine headline a list of 10 players named as the Atlantic Coast Conference Football Players of the Week, announced by the conference on Monday. Greene caught the game-winning touchdowns with under a minute remaining and Carradine registered 11 tackles in the Seminoles' 28-22 win at Virginia Tech.
