[Sep. 13, 2008] Week three of the Road to Tampa Bay features unbeaten Georgia Tech, traveling to Virginia Tech for an important Coastal Division contest in a game that will be regionally-televised by ABC (3:30 pm). The Jackets, led by the sophtandem of QB Josh Nesbitt and B-Back Jonathan Dwyer, are coming off a victory in the first ACC game of the year, a 19-16 decision at Boston College. The Hokies are led by QBs Sean Glennon and Tyrod Taylor. Taylor rushed for 112 yards in a 24-7 win over Furman.

[Sep. 1, 2008] With one of the most spectacular all-purpose nights in ACC history, North Carolina’s Brandon Tate racked up 397 yards on 11 plays to propel him to ACC Specialist of the Week honors. Joining Tate as league honorees for the first week of the season are Wake Forest quarterback Riley Skinner, Georgia Tech offensive tackle Andrew Gardner, Miami defensive lineman Spencer Atkins, North Carolina defensive end E.J. Wilson, Virginia Tech cornerback Stephan Virgil and Miami quarterback Jacory Harris.

[Aug. 27, 2008] The Eagles are one of four ACC teams (GT, Miami, UVa) who will definitely start a new QB in its season opener, with fifth-year senior Chris Crane taking over for last year's ACC Player of the Year Matt Ryan. Clemson will be playing its second straight game in the Georgia Dome when it meets Alabama there on Aug. 30

[Aug. 27, 2008] Georgia Tech, which begins the Paul Johnson Era on The Flats against Jacksonville State, and Miami, which hosts Charleston Southern in its first home game in Dolphin Stadium, get a jump on everyone with 7:30 pm kickoffs (ESPN 360) on Thursday. NC State (ESPN), which travels to South Carolina, and Wake Forest, (Fox Sports Net), which journeys to Baylor, follow a half hour later in a pair of nationally- televised games at 8 p.m.
