ACC Football This Week - 10/01/05[Sep. 30, 2005] Navy travels to Wallace Wade Stadium to face Duke for the first time since 1997 when the Blue Devils posted a 26-17 victory over the Midshipmen. North Carolina and Utah will square-off for the second-straight year, and for the first-time in Kenan Stadium, on Saturday afternoon. Wake Forest welcomes Clemson to Groves Stadium for a 3:30 pm kickoff.

Wake Forest welcomes Clemson to Groves Stadium[Sep. 29, 2005] Wake Forest completes a three-game homestand this week as Clemson comes to Groves Stadium Saturday. Both the Demon Deacons (1-3) and Tigers (2-2) are coming off low-scoring home losses. Penalties and turnovers doomed Wake Forest in its ACC opening loss to Maryland, 22-12.
Parking information for Clemson at Wake Forest football game[Sep. 28, 2005] The upcoming Clemson football game is expecting a large crowd. In addition, the Dixie Classic Fair opens at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1. Because of the Joel Coliseum's close proximity to the fairgrounds, Dixie Classic patrons will be parking at the LJVM and surrounding areas.

Carolina at NC State game notes[Sep. 23, 2005] One of NC State's first victories in Carter-Finley Stadium was against North Carolina, 13-7, in the season opener of 1967, Chuck Amato's senior campaign. The stadium had opened midway through the 1966 season. Since then, NC State has gone 7-11 against the Heels in Carter-Finley, but has posted a 149-79-6 overall record on its home field.

East Carolina travels to Winston-Salem to take on Wake Forest at Groves Stadium. North Carolina and Wisconsin will face-off for just the second time on the gridiron in a game shown nationally on ESPN2 at 7:00 pm

N.C. State unveils $39 million Vaughn Towers[Sep. 15, 2005] It's certainly a big change from the much smaller facilities that served Riddick Stadium or the two-story press box that sat over the second deck of the west grandstands from the time Carter Stadium was opened in 1966 until it was torn down following the 2003 season. The four-level Vaughn Towers provide 955 club seats in the Curtis and Jacqueline Dail Club Seating and has 51 suites for corporate entertainment.
