First round of the 2007 North Carolina high school football playoffs are set to go

Chapel hill, NC - The North Carolina High School Athletic Association released it's pairings for the first round of the 2007 North Carolina high school football playoffs that start this Friday, November 9. Seed numbers are listed along with 11-game records; teams were seeded on 10-game records.

Chatham County has two high school teams in the state football playoffs this year: Pittsboro's Northwood Chargers and the Siler City Jordan-Matthews Jets. The #3 seeded 2-AA Northwood (10-1) team will host #14 Pasquotank (5-5). The #10 seeded 1-AA Siler City Jordan-Matthews (8-2-1) will travel to play at #7seeded West Wilkes (9-2).
