Durham, NC - Duke's football game against Army scheduled for Saturday, September 12 at Michie Stadium in West Point, N.Y., will kick off at 12 noon. The game will be televised by CBS College Sports Network.
Duke leads the all-time series with the Black Knights by a 10-9-1 count and the Blue Devils have won six of the past seven meetings. The two squads have not met since September 20, 1997 when Duke upended Army, 20-17, in Durham. Army won the last meeting in West Point by a 35-17 score on September 21, 1996, while the Blue Devils last won at Michie Stadium on September 16, 1995 with a 23-21 decision.
The Blue Devils open the season at home on September 5 against Richmond (7 p.m.).
