Durham, N.C. -- Duke and Notre Dame have agreed to resume their football series with one game slated for Saturday, November 17, 2007, when the Blue Devils will travel to South Bend to meet the Fighting Irish.
The Blue Devils and Fighting Irish have met three times on the gridiron, with Notre Dame holding an all-time series advantage of 2-1. Notre Dame picked up victories in 1958 (9-7 in South Bend) and 1966 (64-0 in South Bend) while the Blue Devils earned a 37-13 win in Durham in 1961.
