Blue Devils Open Practice On Monday Afternoon

Durham, N.C. - Duke's 103-member football team reported to campus on Sunday for the beginning preseason camp. The Blue Devils will begin practice on Monday with an afternoon session beginning at 4 p.m.

Under the direction of first year head coach Ted Roof, Duke returns 39 lettermen and 12 starters from last year's unit that finished 4-8 overall and 2-6 in the ACC.

"Reporting day is an exciting time for everyone," Roof said. "Right off the bat, we will rely on our leaders to help set the tone for the season. We're certainly anxious to get things started."

The Blue Devils will open the season on September 4 at Navy with kickoff set for 6 p.m.
