Carolina football coach Butch Davis to appear at Triangle Pigskin Preview

Chapel Hill, NC - North Carolina head coach Butch Davis will join three other local college football coaches at the seventh annual Triangle Pigskin Preview on Thursday, July 23. The preview will be held at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center in the Research Triangle Park with lunch beginning at 12:30 p.m.

The luncheon serves as a special fund development and membership drive for the Triangle Chapter of the National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Fame. Attendees have the opportunity to bid on autographed helmets from each institution as well as win a football autographed by all four coaches.

Davis will be joined on the podium by Duke's David Cutcliffe, NC State's Tom O'Brien and NC Central's Mose Rison to discuss their teams' upcoming season.

Tickets for the luncheon, organized by the Triangle Chapter of the National Football Foundation, are $60 for individuals. Table sponsorships are available for $600.

All proceeds from the event and the auction of autographed items following lunch will go to the NFF and College Hall of Fame scholarship program.
