Wolfpack Club’s “Red, White and You” Coaches Caravan to visit Pittsboro[Jun. 9, 2009] The Wolfpack Club, NC State’s fundraising organization for athletic scholarships and facility enhancements, is proud to announce the next stop of the 2009 “Red, White and You” Coaches Caravan in Pittsboro, North Carolina on June 9, 2009. Costner and Ferguson will not return for the NC State Wolfpack[Mar. 24, 2009] NC State head men’s basketball coach Sidney Lowe has announced that redshirt juniors Brandon Costner and Trevor Ferguson will forego their final year of eligibility, and not return to the Wolfpack in 2009-10. Costner will earn a degree in communications in May, while Ferguson plans to earn a degree in science, technology and society in the summer.
UNC's Hansbrough named Naismith award finalist[Mar. 23, 2009] Returning National Player of the Year Tyler Hansbrough headlines the list of four finalists for the 2009 Naismith Men's College Player of the Year Award, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced on Sunday. DeJuan Blair (Pittsburgh) and Hasheem Thabeet (Connecticut), the BIG EAST Co-Players of the Year, and Blake Griffin (Oklahoma), the top player in the Big 12, join Hansbrough on the final ballot.
