The game will start 40 minutes after the conclusion of the Connecticut-Michigan State game, which starts at 6:07 p.m.
Costner and Ferguson will not return for the NC State Wolfpack[Mar. 24, 2009] NC State head men’s basketball coach Sidney Lowe has announced that redshirt juniors Brandon Costner and Trevor Ferguson will forego their final year of eligibility, and not return to the Wolfpack in 2009-10. Costner will earn a degree in communications in May, while Ferguson plans to earn a degree in science, technology and society in the summer.
UNC's Hansbrough named Naismith award finalist[Mar. 23, 2009] Returning National Player of the Year Tyler Hansbrough headlines the list of four finalists for the 2009 Naismith Men's College Player of the Year Award, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced on Sunday. DeJuan Blair (Pittsburgh) and Hasheem Thabeet (Connecticut), the BIG EAST Co-Players of the Year, and Blake Griffin (Oklahoma), the top player in the Big 12, join Hansbrough on the final ballot.
Top-seeded Tar Heels face LSU Tigers with Sweet 16 berth on the line[Mar. 21, 2009] Atlantic Coast Conference regular season champion North Carolina (29-4), the No. 1 seed in the South Regional, will try to advance to the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 for an NCAA-record 23rd time when it faces Louisiana State (27-7) on Saturday evening at the Greensboro Coliseum.

The Blue Devils improve to 29-6 on the season and will advance to the second round where they will take on Texas on Saturday at 8:15 p.m.
