World's greatest alumni game returning to Smith Center

The fourth-annual charity game will be played on Aug. 27 in Chapel Hill.

Chapel Hill, NC -- Tar Heel and Atlantic Coast Conference basketball fans are invited to attend the fourth-annual World's Greatest Alumni Game, to be held at the Smith Center in Chapel Hill on Aug. 27 at 7 p.m.

Jerry Stackhouse and Antawn Jamison again will act as hosts of the event, with proceeds going to the American Diabetes Foundation.

Past participants have included current and former NBA players such as Stackhouse, Jamison, Rasheed Wallace, George Lynch and Brendan Haywood, as well as other former UNC and Atlantic Coast Conference players.
