Public input session

* Mr. Ricky Spoon, Chatham Developer, proposed using his equipment and labor to install a county water line to his "Copper Ridge" development versus drilling individual wells. A county water line is proposed for approximately 2 years. He will work with county water and planning to see if we can work this out. Seems like a win-win proposal at this point and I appreciate his suggestion.
* Former BOC members, Mr. E.T. Hanner, Mrs. Margaret Pollard, and Ms. Uva Holland requested an additional $125,000 be allocated to the Human Relations Commission to develop a minority recruitment plan and assist in hiring qualified minorities to serve in leadership positions in Chatham County government. This will be looked into and discussed at a future meeting.
