Violating the Pittsboro sign ordinance

Pittsboro, NC - I personally like the big flag signs for Powell Place on 15-501. I see them as a "sign" of an expanding economy north of Pittsboro on Hwy 15-501 at US 64 bypass, but I think they violate the Town's sign ordinance.

My understanding as a reporter who covers Planning Board meetings is that temporary signs are not allowed. I also know that the sign on the small building for The Parks is illegal as is the sign in front of the baseball store.
