Pittsboro, NC - We managed to lure a stray beagle who had been roaming the neighborhood for several days into our backyard and into our dog's pen the other night. He had on a collar, but would not let us near him to get the owner's name or number. The next morning I called Animal control: they answered the phone on the second ring, and within 35 minutes a very nice young man pulled up into our driveway, collared the dog and took him to the shelter, where he said he would contact the dog's owner.

Thank you for such a professional, courteous, timely response to my phone call!
