How Chatham county can earn more money

Pittsboro, NC - I have a great idea for how the county can earn more money: Have the Sheriff's department patrol 15-501 like they do 64 in Siler City. They could easily write 50 tickets a day, and at $150 a pop for speeding tickets this would mean $7500 a day, or $2,700,000 a year.

I'm no slowpoke, I drive 60-65 down that road, but I constantly see always truckers and other cars going over 75 mph. This is really dangerous for those of us that have tiny dirt roads off of 15-501 and have to slow down in order to turn off the highway onto gravel.

So Sheriff Webster, how about it? Let's get your guys out there to earn some money for the county.
