Pittsboro, NC - Strong leadership is needed to manage Chatham County’s unprecedented growth and infrastructure challenges. We think that Jeffrey Starkweather is exceptionally well-qualified to build on our county’s strengths, and help plan for a better future.

We have known Jeffrey for many years and have always been impressed by his intelligence, tenacity and compassion. He has a deep knowledge of and commitment to Chatham County, and would represent the many different communities here fairly and effectively. He has worked tremendously hard for many years to make the county wealthier and healthier, building alliances, going the extra mile to untangle complex issues, and standing up for the rights of every citizen. If we attend a County Commissioners meeting, Jeffrey is always there, well-informed and willing to share what he knows about the subject at hand.

We are lucky to have such a highly qualified person running for County Commissioner, and enthusiastically endorse his candidacy.
