Pittsboro, NC - Just what is everyone's problem? If most of the chatlists are not political, then new things in and around Pittsboro are being stomped on. We were not promised a rose garden anywhere or anytime in our lives. Why can't people who do not like something new happening in and around Pittsboro, just stay in their homes and shop on the Internet, or either move and build yourselves a place where you can build it like you want it, shop where you want to, have conversations with who you want to and where you want to?
We all pay taxes and the folks who are original and life long residents of Pittsboro, for many generations, are not complaing like many of the folks who are moving to Pittsboro and as I have said before, we have had to get use to lots of changes so just get a grip and stop complaining or just MOVE, Personally I would like to read anything other than so many complaints about OUR quaint little town of Pittsboro, OUR home town. I personally, like the PIG sign. It is a sign of our quaintness!
And if any one of us just happen to spell something wrong, what is the problem with that? I suspect, if you complain about something, you have made many typos in your own life!
Just what is wrong with the PIG sign? Remember this is the little quaint town of Pittsboro that many of you are wanting to change!? Remember where you came from.
As I said in a previous chat, all of us who are life long Chathamites would like to see our quaint little town again, where we know everyone we meet on the streets, in stores, in churches and any where we may go, if we wanted to sit in front of any store and visit, we could without someone saying "where is the police".
What is so wrong with visiting with someone inside or outside of a store? It seems that discrimination is being slipped in somewhere. Whether it is the Marketplace or the Piggly Wiggly, the last time I heard, it is legal to talk to anyone any where you want to. And, oh yea, if I have misspelled, or used wrong grammar, please excuse me, only if you have never done the same before. Think about this before you comment.
Have a nice day and go out and converse with your neighbors on the streets and in stores where you just happen to meet. You might have something good to write about instead of complaining all the time.
