Pittsboro, NC - A display chronicling Chatham Habitat for Humanity's 20 year history, incorporating Home Stores merchandise and many interesting photographs, is currently on view at the former Home Store Too space at 467 West Street in Pittsboro through October. These items will lead supporters on a "walk down memory lane." They may even catch a glimpse of themselves digging a footing by hand - the way early Habitat volunteers got things done.
Many thanks to display coordinators and decorators Monica Berry and Maureen Hughes, pillow maker Jo Ann Macy-Tyra, decorator Laura Avery, the women of the Life of the Party, and several generous Home Store volunteers who teamed up to create this memorable and inspiring display.
The display will be open during Chatham Habitat for Humanity office hours: Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. For more information call (919) 542-0794 or visit the web site.
