Chatham county is big enough for Chatham Park and those who want the serenity our county offers us

Pittsboro, NC - This is in response to Jane Forbes about commending those who are against Chatham Park. Let it be known that there are those of us who are for Chatham Park who are not in any way affiliated with Preston Developers, Jim Goodnight or any others who know or work with these individuals.

Having seen what the Research Triangle Park (and working there for decades) did to our area in growing the area and bringing good jobs for the people of our state as well as others, Chatham County and surrounding counties such as Lee, Moore, Harnett, etc. would benefit having good jobs closer to them. Chatham offers nothing in good paying jobs and no incentives to bring in businesses to fill up the numerous empty real estate in what use to be businesses especially in Siler City.

Our county is big enough for Chatham Park and those who want the serenity our county offers us.

We can't keep living with our heads in the sand. Our county is strategically located to bring in Chatham Park. It is the best of both worlds as we can accommodate both those who don't want change and those who
do.
