Are Chatham Democrats headed for Splitsville?

So, I usually stay out of the fray when it comes to the commissioners, except for stating the obvious....Bunkey is bought, Carl needs to stay awake and Tommy, well, what needs to be said about Tommy that he hasn't said himself...

I have concentrated my efforts over that past half dozen years on getting arid of dead wood on the BOE...let's see Cooper, gone, Dark, gone, Wilkie, gone and Mabe with one foot out the door. (of course, wouldn't have happened with out the vote)

Anyway, the scuttlebutt I'm hearing now is that the COALITION is going to split the DEMOCRATIC party in Chatham in two. IF the coalition members take over the party, I am told by the "old timers" that they will leave the Dem. party and convert to.....egad! Republicans. There's some unhappy folks in the Democratic old guard, not too happy with the "newcomers" and "interlopers".

Fair warning. If ya' don't work together they will defeat you. The parents/citizens with school issues finally learned that we had to work together and that is was the elected officials on the board of education and those within the administration turning us against each other. Don't turn on yourselves....or THEY win, everytime.

And that is my only 2 cents on that issue.
