Two arrested for breaking and entering

Staley, NC - Two men have been arrested in connection with a Breaking and Entering that occurred at 241 Graham Moore Road, Staley. On February 2, Joyce Goldston of 241 Graham Moore Road, Staley reported the break in of her residence to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office.

She reported that several items were taken including a DVD player, Xbox Game System and a Man’s Boulevard Watch. A witness observed Terrence Gladden, 18, of 219 Graham Moore Road outside the residence around the time the incident occurred.

The witness also saw an unknown black male coming from the mobile home and got in a tan Nissan that was parked at the residence. Gladden also got in the vehicle with the unknown black male and they left.

Detective David McKee began the investigation and later developed Matthew Davis, 17, of 412 E. Ninth Street, Siler City as the unknown black male that was seen at the residence. Both men were arrested on Wednesday evening. Davis was charged with Felonious Breaking and Entering and Felonious Larceny. Gladden was charged with Felonious Aiding and Abetting.

Both were released on written promises to appear in Chatham County District Court in Siler City on April 4.
