Siler City man arrested by deputies on drug charges

Siler City, NC - Last week, Chatham County narcotics officers arrested Larry Binkley, 59, of 1968 Harold Andrews Road, Siler City after he was stopped and his vehicle searched. Investigators discovered 200 doses of Percocet, two doses of methadone and $3,700 cash in his possession. All items were seized as evidence.

Binkley was arrested for Felonious Trafficking Schedule 2 Narcotic, Felonious Possession with Intent to Sell and deliver Schedule 2 Narcotic, Felonious Possession of Schedule 2 Narcotic, Felonious Maintain a Vehicle for Controlled Substances and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was jailed under a $10,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on November 22.
