Siler City, NC - Chatham County deputies arrested a Siler City man after an investigation was conducted in reference to a larceny of a Suzuki dirt bike and Honda 4-Wheeler. The items were recovered by Sgt. Kevin Campbell and Deputy Aaron Whitaker on the morning of February 26.
The items were reported stolen by Jamie Lee of Siler City later that day. The value of both items is $4,000. Deputies gathered evidence that lead them to the suspect Dustin Stout, 20, of 1461 Lamberts Chapel Road, Siler City.
Stout was arrested by Deputy Chris Burger and charged with 2 counts of Felonious Larceny and 2 counts of Felonious Possession of a Stolen Firearm. He was jailed under a $15,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on March 6.
