Drug arrests made at Shakori Hills music festival

Silk Hope, NC — The Chatham County Sheriff’s Office conducted several narcotics detection operations during the recent Shakori Hills music festival and made 67 criminal charges and 16 separate arrests at or near the facility. Deputies seized more than three ounces of psychedelic mushrooms, eight ounces of marijuana, eight units of LSD, 54 units of ecstasy, four units of Oxycontin, one unit of Klozapam, and 1.4 grams of powder ecstasy.

Deputies arrested:

  • Conner Kinnon, 17, of Chapel Hill; charged with underage consumption of alcohol,
  • Alexander Sparks, 20, of Ithaca, N.Y.; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Regina Romano, 19, of Ithaca, N.Y.; charged with possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Timothy Maragni, 27, of Ithaca, N.Y.; charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Sean Judge, 20, of Ithaca, N.Y.; charged with possession of a schedule I narcotic, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Donald Gregory, 21, of Ithaca, N.Y.; charged with possession of a schedule IV narcotic, possession of a schedule II narcotic, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Eleanor Ritter, 20, of Ithaca, N.Y.; charged with possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Galan Watts, 17, of Hillsborough; charged with resist, delay and obstruct and underage possession of alcohol,
  • Joseph Locklear, 25, of Burlington; charged with possession of a schedule IV narcotic and possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Jeremy Jurgevich, 17, of Haw River; charged with resist, delay and obstruct and underage possession of alcohol,
  • William Riley, 22, of Snow Camp; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container,
  • Travis Allen Porter, 25, of Carrboro; charged with possession of LSD, possession of ecstasy and possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Jeffery Lee, 20, of Seven Springs; charged with possession with intent to dell and deliver a schedule I narcotic, possession with intent to sell and deliver a schedule II narcotic, possession of a schedule I narcotics, possession of a schedule II narcotic, possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule IV narcotic, possession of a schedule III narcotic, and possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Wesley Bauer, 19, of Greensboro; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule I narcotic, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle for drugs, and possession of drug paraphernalia,
  • Joseph Mathews, 20, of Greensboro; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule I narcotic, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle for drugs, possession of a schedule IV narcotic, and possession of drug paraphernalia, and
  • Aaron Bryant, 28, of Greensboro; charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule I narcotic, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, maintaining a vehicle for drugs, open container, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
