Siler City, NC - Chatham County deputies arrested a Siler City man after officers responded to a stolen vehicle call. The vehicle, a 1993 Ford Explorer was reported stolen on Wednesday morning, October 17, by Ricky Greeson of Siler City.
Deputy Cory Zeller stopped the vehicle on Hwy 64, just west of Pittsboro a short while later and found Christopher Michael Garner, 20, of 112 Fritts Family Drive, Siler City behind the wheel.
Garner was charged with Felonious Larceny of a Motor Vehicle, Driving While Impaired, Damage to Property and Resist, Delay and Obstruction of an Officer. He was jailed under a $1,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on November 7.
