Siler City, NC - Russell Creason of Creason Road, Siler City reported to the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office a breaking and entering to his residence on December 26. He stated that a Ruger 7MM Bolt Action rifle, valued at $700.00 was stolen.
Detective David McKee was assigned the case and developed two suspects, Robert Lefler and his girlfriend, Andrea Callahan. Lefler was arrested on February 13th after he was jailed in the Moore County Sheriff’s Office on other unrelated charges
Detective Latisha Allen arrested Andrea Callahan, 31, of 1231 Caviness Town Road, Robbins after she turned herself into authorities on Thursday afternoon. Callahan was arrested without incident and was released under a written promise and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on March 22.
