Robbery suspect sought in Chatham County

Chatham County Deputies are looking for two men who robbed two Sanford residents Friday night in Goldston. Tabitha and Robert Willet stopped at Galaxy Gas in Goldston to purchase a newspaper and were confronted by two black males in the parking lot.

One suspect is described as 5’11”, slim build, light skin with corn rows in his hair. He possessed a silver colored handgun and stole 80 cents from Mr. Willet. The second suspect is described as 6’3”, slim build, dark skin with a goatee. Both suspects left the area in an early 90’s red Honda heading south towards Lee County.

Anyone with information on this crime is asked to contact the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office at 919 542-2911.
