During an investigation into another recent larceny, Detective David McKee learned that Jeremy Cull, 31, of 8368 15-501 North, Pittsboro had traded a stolen four-wheeler ATV in exchange for a dirt bike with some people in Liberty. McKee went to the residence of the couple in Liberty and located the ATV last week.

Statements were taken from the couple and it was stated that Cull had traded them the four-wheeler ATV in exchange for $1,500 cash and a dirt bike shortly before Christmas of 2002. The owner of the four-wheeler was notified and it was turned back over to her.

Cull was charged with felony larceny and served with the warrant on Monday. He is currently in jail on several other felony warrants. His bond was set at an additional $2,000 secured and his first appearance is scheduled for Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on August 17.
