Puryear worked at Kerr Drugs, 2414 S. Horner Blvd., where she was a pharmacy technician. Police began an investigation when store officials noticed the missing pills.

Police also believe Puryear took Endocet and Hydrocodone, making the total of the alleged stolen drugs more than $1,000.

She was released on a $15,000 unsecured bond.
