Chatham County Sheriff’s deputies have arrested Alex Troy Owens III on a Breaking and Entering charge pursuant to an incident that occurred on Saturday. The original case was reported to the Sheriff’s Office by a member of the Rocky River Friends Meeting located at 1795 Staley-Snow Camp Road, Siler City when deputies responded to a report of a breaking and entering at that location. When deputies arrived, it was discovered that Owens has broke into the church and was still inside. They found him inside one of the classrooms and took him into custody without incident.
He was arrested for one count of Breaking and Entering and one count of Injury to Real Property. He was also arrested for 3 counts of failing to appear in Randolph County Court for other charges.
