Sheriff's Ice team makes narcotics arrest

Ronald Glenn of Carrboro

Pittsboro, NC - Deputies from the Chatham County Sheriff’s Interstate Criminal Enforcement (ICE) and Canine Units charged a Carrboro man with drug violations after a traffic stop was conducted on Sunday afternoon in Pittsboro. Deputies stopped Ronald Glenn, 39, of 200 Barnes Street, Carrboro and found 5 grams of Marijuana in his possession.

He was charged with Felonious Possession With Intent to Sell and Deliver Marijuana, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was arrested without incident and jailed under a $1,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County district court in Pittsboro on July 20.
