Pittsboro, NC - Deputies from the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office ICE Team arrested 2 Chatham County men after a traffic stop was conducted on the Hwy 64 Bypass near Pittsboro. Officers seized 3.2 grams of cocaine and 31 grams of Marijuana after a search the vehicle was conducted.
Deputies arrested Robert Glenn Lewis, 25, of 551 Indian Creek Estates, Goldston and charged him with Felonious Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Deputies also arrested Russell Collins Petty Garrett, 18, of 12062 Hwy 902, Bear Creek and charged him with Aggravated Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Lewis was jailed under a $5,000.00 secured bond and Garrett was jailed under a $1,000.00 secured bond. Both are scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on November 14. Photo of Garrett not available.
