On May 5, The Chatham County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Unit conducted an undercover drug operation at Cole Park Plaza in Northern Chatham County and arrested Jason Finch, 30, of 2430 Efland Cedar Grove Road, Efland on Felony Narcotics charges. Deputies recovered $400.00 in cash from Finch who was attempting to purchase 4 ounces of Marijuana from undercover agents of the Sheriff’s Office. He was charged with the following crimes:
* Felonious Possession of Marijuana
* Felonious Conspiracy to Sell and/or Deliver Marijuana
* Felonious Maintaining a Vehicle for Controlled Substances
Finch was arrested without incident and jailed under a $2,300.00 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in district court in Pittsboro on May 18.
