Chatham County narcotics agents conducted an eradication operation and recovered 56 very large Marijuana plants this past Sunday off of Vander Oldham Road in southwestern Chatham County. The plants ranged from 12 feet to 16 feet tall and have a street valued of $112,000.00. A nearby homeowner led the officers to the plants after he had located them on his property. Officers immediately took the drugs to the county landfill and burned them.
