Pittsboro, NC - Here's a summary of August 2007's felonious and serious arrests by the Chatham County Sheriff's department.

On August 1, Dustin Hall, 25, of 137 Buttercup Drive, Bennett was arrested by Deputy Mike Garbarino for Assault Inflicting Serious Injury, Assault on a Female and Interfering with Emergency Communications. He was jailed under a 48-hour lockup and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on August 15.

On August 3, Arthur Sexton, 32, of 311 Silkwood Drive, Ramseur was arrested by Sergeant Bill Mazurek for Failing to Appear in Court. He was jailed under a $1,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Lee County District Court in Sanford on August 28.

On August 3, Donovan Horton, 20, of 1201 Glasgow Drive, Siler City was arrested by Deputy Dana Smith for Failing to Appear in Court. He was released under a written promise and is scheduled to appear in Randolph County District Court in Asheboro on October 3.

On August 4, Jeffrey Steele II, 26, of 1570 Bynum Road, Pittsboro was arrested by Deputy Mike Copeland for Failing to Appear in Court. He was jailed under a $5,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on September 5.

On August 4, Kyle Maynor, 21, of 1610 Andrews Store Road, Pittsboro was arrested by Deputy Mike Copeland for Assault and Resist, Delay and Obstruction of an Officer. He was jailed under a $5,000.00 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in Chatham County District Court in Pittsboro on September 6.

On August 21, Benjamin Cheek, 57, of 782 Lane Jordan Road, Siler City was arrested by the Chatham County ICE Team for Driving While License Revoked and Displaying a Fictitious Tag on Vehicle. On August 27, Brittany Grispina, 20, of 377 White Smith Road, Pittsboro was arrested by Deputy Chris Burger for Felonious Sell and Deliver of Controlled Substances and Felonious maintaining a Dwelling for Controlled Substances.
