Chatham County authorities search for missing man

Siler City - Town police and Chatham County sheriff's deputies are searching for an elderly man who went missing in late August.

David "J.D." Fikes, 73, was last seen at Love's Creek Mobile Home Park on Aug. 30. He is a black male about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. A description of his clothing and a photograph were not available.

However, the family is offering a $500 reward to anyone with information about his location.
