Chatham County deputies have arrested a Chapel Hill man in connection with an attempted robbery that occurred off of Dalton Road in Northern Chatham County early this morning. John Walker Jr., 18, of 635 Dalton Drive, Chapel Hill was charged with Attempted Armed Robbery after deputies and detectives responded to the intersection of Big Woods Road and Dalton Road at approximately 10:30 PM last night and discovered that Walker had attempted to rob two Pittsboro men at gun point. The investigation in the case has revealed that Walker and the two men were to meet at that location and discuss a business arrangement.
