Pittsboro, NC - I'm supporting Thom Tillis for US Senate and am writing to ask conservatives to help me get the Chatham County vote out for Thom in the primary election.
While there are some good conservatives running for the US Senate, I have decided to give my support to Thom. He is the strongest candidate and I'm convinced that he can beat the liberal Kay Hagan. But most of all, I respect and trust Thom. As a candidate I saw firsthand his dedication to the House candidates. He circled the state raising money for all of us, while mentoring those who needed some extra help. He was dedicated to winning the majority in the state house, and this new majority did exactly what they said they were going to do: They passed laws that rejected the liberal status quo and business-as-usual, spend then tax mentality. The 2013 legislative session was all about moving our state forward. I wish I had been there with them, but I certainly cheered them on as they kept their promises in word and deed.
Please go to Thom's website to learn more about his background and what makes him so motivated. Thom gets things done - he did it as a successful businessman and as a state legislator and leader. He now wants to take that conservative, free-market ideology and results-oriented leadership style to Washington.
More than regulation and tax reform, balanced budgets, and private property rights, Thom is a man of faith, is pro-life, believes in marriage between a man and a woman, and will be a strong voice in the Senate to defend the 2ndAmendment.
He is THE candidate who can beat Kay Hagan. You've seen what has happened in the Senate, led by the liberal socialist, Harry Reid. We have to win the majority in the Senate and Thom is our best bet.
I will be coordinating efforts in Chatham to recruit volunteers to campaign door-to-door, put up signs, and to staff the polls during the Early Voting/Election Day period. As a former candidate, I know how important volunteers are to a campaign. Volunteer a lot, or volunteer a little - your help will be most appreciated.
Say yes, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and join me on Team Tillis!
