Chatham County, NC - The Chatham County Democratic Party is having precinct meetings on Thursday Feb. 9, at 7 pm at your voting place. N Williams and Merritts Chapel precincts will meet in the cafeteria at North Chatham School, use the bus parking lot entrance. East Mann's Chapel will meet at Drydock Restaurant that evening at 7pm.

As some of you may have noticed recently, the local Democratic Party makes some appointments to some important boards. I invite you to participate, go to the meeting and if there is a vacancy for chair or vice chair, get elected, you can serve on the executive committee and make a difference. You can also bring resolutions to the meeting and if passed, they will be voted on at our county convention, to be held this year on April 1. Some of the meeting times and places may change so either check with me or look in next week's local paper.

The meeting for the Hickory Mountain Precinct could not be scheduled at our usual voting place (Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church), so the meeting will be held at The Inn at Celebrity Dairy, Feb 9th, 7pm.
The address is 2106 Mt Vernon Hickory Mtn Rd, just one mile south of the Silk Hope Elementary School.

If you vote at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, and reside in Hickory Mountain Precinct, please plan to attend the meeting.
Involvement in the Chatham County Democratic Party is not required, but you do need to be registered Democratic to attend.

To learn more about where you are registered to vote, your precinct, or to learn where your precinct meeting is taking place, please call the Board of Elections office: 542-8206
