Pittsboro, NC - On April 17th Chatham County Commissioner Tom Vanderbeck, Chatham County Democratic Party Chair Karl Kachergis, Second Vice-Chair Delcinia Turner and I had the honor of witnessing a great speech and Q & A session by U.S. presidential hopeful Barack Obama. He spoke in front of dozens of North Carolina elected officials, citizens and media at the Raleigh Town Hall Meeting.

We were all very impressed. What we did not know during the Q & A was that we would join the other elected officials and personally meet Barack Obama. I can personally attest that he is "real" and more than advertised.
