Pittsboro, NC - The PTA Thrift Shop in Pittsboro has moved to a new location and is open for business. The new location is 400 East Street (hwy 64). They moved into the Sears building over the New Year's holiday.

Cindy Koszulinski, the store manager, is very excited and would like for everyone to come out, see the new store and shop.

The store is always looking for donations such as clothing, household, furniture, etc. You can bring your donations to the store or place them in the many blue and white drop boxes around the county. The thrift shop is always looking for volunteers. Those with a little extra time to spare can volunteer as little as an hour or two at the store, hanging clothes or putting out items.

You can also volunteer to clean out a drop box and bring the items back to the store. If you have a talent or trade like painting, electric or carpentry you can volunteer your time to help with a project at the store. When people volunteer their time, it not only helps the store but it also goes to help Chatham County Schools with money at the end of the year.

In Chatham County there are three PTA Thrift Shops--Pittsboro 400 East Street (hwy 64), Cole Park Plaza hwy 15/501 and Siler City hwy 64 beside Bestfood Cafeteria. Come by and see a managers for details on volunteering.

Stop by for a visit and check out all the great items and terrific PRICES.
